Episode 104 – CES, Sales, and Sentient

The Michael’s kick off the new year with a review of CES 2015; not much gaming there, unless you consider all of Las Vegas. We then take an interesting site from our co-host Phaedra about improved gamification of sales contests…with world wide applicability! And finally we say a big thank you to our former co-host Sandy Kearney who has succumbed to day job overload – we miss you Sandy and wish you a great 2015!

Episode 20 – Social Live Improv

The Michaels are without Phaedra this week, and talk about improv, monkeys, and the intersection between gaming technology and social technologies. FedEx launching new Social Collaboration. Michael M doesn’t realize that Ping is dead! But They Might Be Giants lives on with custom ring tones, just like Carl Kassell on Wait, Wait, Don’t tell Me.

We also brainstorm a bit on good examples of two way conversations in social business.  Small businesses do this well, and a few of our favorites are Waze, Bojangles, Bean Traders and local gaming development community in the RTP area.

Don’t forget about Dance where you are day!

Episode 16 – Going Mobile

Michael and Michael promise not to dance or sing, but instead to talk about a great post found via Michael R’s RSS feeds which he spends way too much time on. Techcrunch announced back on August 1st about Mango Health, which gamifies people keeping up with taking their medications. Currently being invested in by Mark Pincus from Zynga, and Keith Rabios COO of Square, which just announced a big deal Starbucks for mobile payments. Michael R. then provides a little shameless cross-self promotion of TriangleAppShow, and tons of Podcasts about Mobile. App called Dromo – monitor’s your Drobo. We also hit a few of Michael R’s favorite apps including Meal Snap, Chirp and Plague.
